Atheist Argument
Version 3
“If God is omniscient, He knew Lucifer would rebel before He created him. If God is omnipotent, He could have prevented Lucifer’s existence. If God is benevolent, He would want to prevent billions of souls from being deceived and destroyed. Yet God created Lucifer anyway. Either God wanted evil to exist or He is powerless to stop it — both are incompatible with a good, all-powerful God.”

The fact that there is evil and evil people is proof that there is a God and that there is free will. If there were no God there would be no need for people to have the endless spectrum of temperament. There would have been a general temperament that would have been optimal. But in a universe created by God with freewill there will not only be an endless spectrum but the problem of anomaly of extremes. With a big enough population size and freewill there will always be one. One knucklehead, one dreamer, one peace maker, one wall flower, one hero, one saint and yes one devil. If Lucifer hadn't rebelled against God another angel would have done it at some point because when there is a large population of free beings there will always be at least one.
