Atheist Argument
Version 1
(of the Science explains reality/universe without God and better then religion)
"Science is about finding the truth and plugging the gaps in our knowledge. Religion teaches people to be satisfied with simplistic mystical explanations. Science is always exploring, and challenging current knowledge open to correction, and new ways of thinking, but religion has the opposite qualities. Religion is closed off, frozen in time and unable to keep up with an advancing society."

Science cannot stand alone. We cannot believe its propositions without first believing in a great many other […] things, such as the existence of the external world, the reliability of our senses, memory and informants, and the validity of logic. If we do believe in these things, we already have a world far wider than that of science.

If science is treated as untouchable or final, it stops being science and turns into ideology.
