God made us into conscious beings able to know right from wrong. The very fact that you're asking this question shows that you know what evil is and you know that it is wrong. When a parent lets their kids go out and play with other kids its not to let them go out and do drugs, hurt someone or get ran over. It's to give them freedom and to start giving them the ability to live their lives.
