(Version 1 of the "Evolution explain the complexity of life without God" argument)

For centuries, the complexity of life was taken as obvious evidence of a Creator. But Darwin changed everything. He showed that the appearance of design can emerge naturally, step by step, through natural selection acting on random variation. Evolution explains not only the dazzling diversity of life, but also its imperfections — the clumsy detours, vestigial organs, and shared genetic errors that no intelligent engineer would insert. The same DNA signatures that link parents to children also link humans to chimpanzees, and chimpanzees to mice, and mice to fish.

Every field of biology confirms it: fossils reveal gradual transitions, genetics maps the branching tree of life, and laboratory experiments show new traits evolving under pressure. We don’t need God to explain the illusion of design any more than we need Zeus to explain lightning. Evolution is not just a theory — it is a unifying framework, tested and confirmed across hundreds of disciplines, and it has explained what once seemed inexplicable. In short: Evolution can account for all the complexity we see in life with no need for a "God".
